MOTHERβS TEARS
This one day street-art piece was painted in Brighton in an area where graffiti writers usually paint. The artwork, inspired by my own personal pain I was going through at the time; remained intact for quite some time. This was because it told a story and also that other street artists/ writers didnβt quite know what to make of it.
I was invited by REQ whom I paint with quite a lot to have this piece of wall. I was feeling pretty down as a result of some life issues I was dealing with, and REQ suggested I needed some painting therapy. There was a piece of work there before which was a writers. name which I decided to incorporate into this piece rather than obliterate.
